You are hereby summoned to attend a meeting of Deeping St Nicholas Parish Council, which will be held on Monday the 22nd of July commencing at 7pm in the Primary School on Main Road, Deeping St Nicholas.   The business to be dealt with at the meeting is listed in the agenda below.  If you are unable to attend, please notify me of your apology.

There will be a 15-minute public forum at the start of the meeting, where members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Council.  Your attendance is also requested during this period.

AGENDA

Chairman’s welcome and Public Forum.

1.   To receive and approve apologies for absence.

2.   To receive Declarations of Interest, in accordance with the Localism Act 2011 being any pecuniary or non-pecuniary interest in agenda items not previously recorded on Member’s Register of Interests.

3.   To approve the Minutes of the Annual Parish Council meeting held on the 28th of May.

4.   Matters arising from the Minutes, (not included on this Agenda).

5.   To receive nominations and resolve by way of a secret ballot, the position of Vice Chair.

a.   Signing of the declaration of Office to be witnessed by the Proper Officer.

6.   To receive the Clerk’s report on matters outstanding.

7.   To resolve to approve the request from the Good Neighbour Scheme to install a bench by the new defibrillator on New Road. 

8.   Highways Matters and Community Speed Watch.

a.   To discuss and resolve parking on the green at the top of Harrow Road.

b.   To discuss and resolve the signage at the top of Campain’s Lane.

c.   To receive the report of the CSW.

9.   Finance Matters: -

a.   To receive the Notes of the Finance Committee and to resolve to approve their recommendations.

b.   To receive Bank Reconciliation and Summary Reports from the RFO 

c.   To approve Invoices for Payment (separate sheet)

10.   Planning Matters.

a.   To receive the report of the Planning Committee.

b.   To discuss and resolve feedback regarding an affordable housing scheme on a site off Littleworth Drove.

11.   To receive an update from the Playing Fields and Bus Shelters Committee.

12.   To resolve to approve the proposed changes to Sub-Committees and membership of each.

13.   To receive reports and updates from members on Community groups and to resolve any requests.

a.   To receive an update from the CTC following the village fete.

14.   Agenda items for the next meeting.

15.   To confirm the date of the next meeting which has been provisionally set for the 23rd of September.
