You are hereby summoned to attend a meeting of Deeping St Nicholas Parish Council, which will be held on Monday the 25th of March commencing at 7pm in the Primary School on Main Road, Deeping St Nicholas.   The business to be dealt with at the meeting is listed in the agenda below.  If you are unable to attend, please notify me of your reason for absence.

There will be a 15-minute public forum at the start, when members of the public may ask questions or make short statements to the Council, and your attendance is also requested during this period.

AGENDA

1.   Chairman’s welcome and Public Forum.

2.   To receive and approve reasons for absence.

3.   To receive Declarations of Interest, in accordance with the Localism Act 2011.

4.   To approve the Minutes of the Parish Council’s Extraordinary meeting on the 26th of February.

5.   Matters arising from the Minutes of the previous meetings. (Not included within this Agenda).

6.   To receive the Clerk’s report on matters outstanding.

7.   Accounts: To receive the Bank Reconciliation and reports from the RFO and

a.   To approve outstanding invoices for payment.

b.   To resolve funding for maintenance of the village defibrillators.

8.   Playing Fields and Bus Shelters Committee: to receive a report from the PF&BS Committee 

a.   Resurfacing of the toddler play area within St Nicholas Park.

b.   To resolve to replace a swing seat with a cradle swing in St Nicholas Park.

9.   Planning Matters: to receive a report from the Planning Committee.

10.   Highways Matters: To receive updates on: -

a.   Footpaths.

b.   Community Speedwatch.

c.   Interactive Speed Signs for Hop Pole.

11.   To resolve the requirement for bus shelter cleaners.

12.   HR Committee: to resolve to approve policy updates.

13.   To receive an update from the following groups and committees: - 

a.   the DSN Good Neighbour Scheme.

b.   the DSN Neighbourhood Watch Scheme.

c.   the DSN Gardening Club.

d.   The Tongue End rewilding project.

e.   The Friends of Littleworth Station.

14.   Correspondence for inspection.

15.   To agree the date for the Annual Parish Meeting.

16.   To agree agenda items for the next Council meeting, set for Monday the 28th of April 2024.
